The RGB demon eyes do need a 12V power source. It’s a simple connection — tap into your fuse box or parking light circuit. Most owners handle it themselves in under 15 minutes. If you’re not comfortable with electrical work, any shop can do it.

Because every used core starts with different wear patterns, age-related micro-scratches, slight color variations, and minor cosmetic differences from years of prior use, no two sets are exactly identical. Slight variations in housing tone, internal finish, surface patina, or material aging are inherent to the handmade, used-core nature of our product — these are not quality defects and not grounds for return or refund. We pre-inspect every core, seal every unit, and guarantee function on every set we ship.

Are these made from brand-new headlight shells or used OEM cores?

Used OEM cores all the way. We start with genuine used Infiniti Q50 headlight housings, sourced from low-mileage vehicles. The factory chrome is stripped, the housing is refinished in gloss black, and the custom lens and RGB demon eyes are installed. We do NOT use cheap aftermarket replica shells — fitment and quality would never be the same.

Since the cores are used, will they have scratches or wear?

All used OEM cores show some minor cosmetic signs of prior use — light surface micro-scratches, slight patina, or age-related tone variation in the plastic. These are normal for pre-owned OEM parts and do not affect function, fitment, or sealing. The lens is replaced with a new honeycomb-etched unit, so what you see through the clear cover is fresh.

Is the RGB demon eye installation reversible?

The RGB module and wiring are added components that don’t permanently alter the headlight’s core function. If you ever want to remove the RGB feature, simply disconnect the power source. The main lighting (low beam, high beam, turn signals) will continue to work normally.

Will these headlights fog up or leak?

Not if they’re sealed properly. Ours are hand-sealed with butyl sealant — same material Mercedes and BMW use from the factory. Every set is water-tested before shipping. If you do see condensation forming, it means the seal was compromised during installation or by physical impact.
